Angelisa is a Licensed Master Social Worker who earned her degree from Long Island University and has worked in the field since 2015. In addition to specializing in adolescents, addiction, family therapy, group therapy and individual therapy, Angelisa is also bilingual and experienced in working with the Hispanic population. She is skilled in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy to aid in PTSD, self esteem, depression, eating disorders, and distorted thinking patterns. Angelisa focuses on her clients goals and her priority is helping them achieve their main objectives by focusing on small tangible steps to take.
