Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in New York. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work in 2023 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from American University’s School of International Service in 2018. As a social worker, Lauren has previously worked in the hospital setting where she collaborated with psychiatrists and doctors to create treatment plans and advocated for her patients at all levels of the healthcare system. She has supported patients struggling with suicidal ideation, depression, substance use, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, anxiety and life transitions. Lauren is passionate about working with young people and has experience with children, adolescents, teens, young adults and their families. Lauren has a deep commitment to anti-oppressive practice and believes that clinicians have a responsibility to work towards building a better world.
Lauren is a trauma-informed clinician who centers her client’s safety and comfort and strives to create a warm and compassionate environment.
